Mumbai: Mumbai Indians (MI) have another shot at entering the Indian Premier League (IPL) final, taking on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the second qualifier in Bengaluru on Friday.
Having lost to the Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) in the first qualifier here on Tuesday, MI will have dish out their best show of the season if they are to get past the Knights on a slow, low-scoring M Chinnaswamy Stadium track.
KKR come into this game having come out trumps in their Eliminator against Sunrisers Hyderabad past midnight on Wednesday – 1.27 am on Thursday, to be precise – and will hope that their second game in the same city isn’t as taxing as the first one.
