Mumbai: Virat Kohli is a man of many qualities, but the biggest one that stands out is his supreme physical fitness. It’s a foundation of the single term that describes Kohli, the cricketer as well as Kohli, the batsman: intensity.
Kohli’s intensity was in full show again on Wednesday, when he notched up his 34th One-Day hundred in the third ODI against South Africa on Wednesday to single-handedly gift India a 3-0 lead in the six-match series.
Kohli’s fitness and stamina were put under test throughout his knock of 160*, in which he battled the Cape Town heat as well as bouts of cramps besides the challenge of the South African bowlers.
