Middle-order fuels chase after Mumbai fast bowler takes 4 wickets to restrict hosts to 152/9

Mumbai: India rode on a middle-order partnership by Manish Pandey and Dinesh Karthik to beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in the fourth game of the T20I tri-series in Colombo on Monday.
Chasing a target of 153 in 19 overs in a rain-hit encounter, India were stuttering at 85/4 before Pandey and Karthik took the team home without further hiccups.
While Karthik scored an unbeaten 39 off 25 balls, Pandey was 42 not out in 31 deliveries as India got home with six wickets and nine balls to spare.
The top-order again failed to fire after captain Rohit Sharma was out for 11 and his fellow opener Shikhar Dhawan for 8.
This was captain Sharma’s third consecutive failure in this tournament, a worrying sign for the team managemen
