Dubey, Shetty star in Shivaji Park victory

Mumbai: Shivam Dubey starred with an all-round show and while Bravish Shetty struck a half-century as Shivaji Park Lions opened their account in the T20 Mumbai League with a victory over Triumph Knights Mumbai North East at the Wankhede Stadium here on Tuesday.
Dubey claimed the tournament’s first five-wicket haul as Lions bowled Knights out for 152. Dubey (47 not out) then combined well with Shetty (60 not out) -- who scored his second straight fifty -- to see Lions home with seven wickets to spare.
With 48 runs needed off the last four overs, Dubey and Shetty hammered 20 runs of the 17th over, bowled by Akshay Parkar, to bring down the equation in their favour.
