Mumbai: It was that IPL match of the year at the Wankhede Stadium where the school children, numbering 21,000 in total from – 3,000 more than the previous years as part of the Mumbai Indians initiative – enjoyed an action-packed cricket.
The vociferous crowd, almost all of them MI fans would have been happier had defending champions Mumbai Indians won their first match of this year’s edition. In the end, MI were left pondering where their first points would come as they went down in yet another last over thriller – second successive last-ball finish – failing to defend their highest total in three matches so far.
