Panel gives its nod to Bihar’s reinstatement in Ranji Trophy

In what comes as a major relief to Cricket Association of Bihar (CAB),the Sourav Ganguly led Tenchical committee of BCCI has agreed to the Committee of Arbitrators (CoA) recommendation to reinstate Bihar in next year’s Ranji Trophy.
A member of the technical committee said, “The technical committee was unanimous in its meeting today that a team from Bihar shall play the Ranji Trophy and other such tournaments in accordance with the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court.
“Any report planted contrary to this could only be termed as malicious,” the official added.
The committee also recommended an option of including the North-Eastern states in the Ranji Trophy.
