‘Time to let go of previous England tour’

New Delhi: YoYo test seems to have become the benchmark for Indian cricketers these days. On the eve of the team’s departure to the United Kingdom for nearly three-month long tour, Indian captain Virat Kohli vouched for the fitness test.
“Look at Bumrah (Jasprit) how he was bowling at 144 kmph in his last spell of the last Test in South Africa,” he said about Bumrah’s speed to YoYo fitness levels.
On his own fitness post neck injury, which ruled him out of his maiden County stint for Surrey, Kohli said that he has completely recovered from the injury.
Kohli had a below par batting peformance during his last tour of England in 2014 which led to team’s 1-3 series loss in Tests.
