An elderly couple fought off two armed robbers in Tirunelveli of Tamil Nadu. The incident was caught on CCTV camera and the footage went viral on Tuesday.
The clips shows an elderly man sitting on the veranda of his house when a robber comes from behind and tries to strangulated him with a piece of cloth. The senior citizen somehow manages to get up from his chair to pick a book. He is ready to put up a mighty fight.
While the man struggles to get himself freed, his wife comes out of the house, apparently after hearing some unusual noise. But just when she walks out of the door, another robber, carrying a sharp weapon, emerges in the video.
