FTII students’ body writes to Anupam Kher

Pune: A day after the appointment of actor Anupam Kher as the chairman of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), a students’ body of the premier institute has written an open letter to him, highlighting some issues.
The FTII students’ association raised questions over Kher’s appointment, stating there is a conflict of interest as he runs his own acting institute in Mumbai.
Robin Joy, president of the association, said, “Through this open letter, we are asking Kher some questions and we wish to hear a reply from him.”
