Party to combat BJP’s ‘divisive’ politics, will also highlight 40 different subjects in manifesto
With an eye on the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress plans to counter Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) ‘Achhe Din’ plank by assuring inclusive growth and combating divisive agenda. The Congress’s manifesto committee has shortlisted around 40 different subjects and formed 17 committees to prepare the manifesto ahead of the LS polls. The list of key subjects include agriculture, employment, industry and MSME, foreign policy, unorganised sector, education, Panchayat Raj, SC, ST and OBC welfare, women and child development, health, drinking water, sanitation, environment, youth and sports.
