Investigate Jay Shah if there is proof, says RSS functionary

New Delhi: On Thursday the RSS clarified its stand on the Jay Shah controversy, with senior functionary Dattatreya Hosabale saying that the case against BJP chief Amit Shah’s son could be probed if there was prima facie evidence. His statement came as fresh ammunition for Opposition cannons to corner the BJP.
Hosabale was responding to queries on day one of the significant, though routine, Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal (ABKM) meeting underway in Bhopal.
“Necessary inquiry should be done and action can be taken accordingly,” the RSS functionary told reporters, replying to questions regarding allegations of of huge spike in the turnover of a company owned by Jay Shah.
