Man thrashes wife and kills her for daring to dance at wedding

Dancing to a DJ’s tune at a wedding ceremony at her parents’ house proved costly for Munia Devi, who was killed by her husband. The shocking incident took place on Monday at Bihar’s Hassadih Mushari village.
According to reports, Munia and husband Ranjit Manjhi alias Ramjeet were residents of Khorangpur village near Dhanarua town in Bihar. She reached Mushari with her children 10 days ago, while Ramjeet followed three days ago. They were to attend the wedding of a family member.
On Monday, a DJ was performing as the rituals were underway. Several members part of the wedding party started dancing to the DJ’s tunes. Seeing this, Munia also wanted to dance, and joined the guests as well.
