Manto daughters from Pak to be in city for release of film on him

Mumbai: In the run-up to the release of Nandita Das’ film Manto DNA has exclusive information that his daughters Nuzhat and Nusrat will be in Mumbai for the release.
They are coming from Lahore by road via Wagah border along with their spouses.
Born in 1912 in a village in Ludhiana district of undivided Punjab of British India, Saadat Hasan Manto was a journalist, screenwriter and a legendary short stories author.
The filmmaker herself confirmed this while speaking to DNA. “We are keeping our fingers crossed that the family of this great literary icon who is legacy of the whole Indian subcontinent will find the passage smooth.”
