Bengaluru: An Ola cab driver allegedly harassed a 23-year-old woman after trapping her inside the car using child lock on Sunday night in Bengaluru. The woman, whose mobile phone battery had run out, could not alert anyone and was let go by the driver after she started banging on the windows and screamed.
According to media reports, the incident took place around 10:30 pm on Sunday when the woman, a fashion stylist, booked the cab. The driver took her to a deserted spot on the Ring Road in southeast Bengaluru and suddenly stopped, the woman said.
The driver then locked the doors engaging child safety locks and harassed her till she started banging on the door and screaming.
