Selection call India’s 15-man squad for World Cup to be named in mumbai

Mumbai: The national selectors chaired by MSK Prasad and captain Virat Kohli will meet here on Monday to finalise the 15-member India squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup to be held in the UK from May 30 to July 14.
While 12 players pick themselves, lengthy discussions will be for the other three slots including the crucial No. 4, for which Ambati Rayudu has to contend with KL Rahul and Vijay Shankar.
Another matter for discussion will be the second wicket-keeper’s position, which will be either the experienced Dinesh Karthik or the dashing young Rishabh Pant.
