Woman’s body washes ashore at Juhu Beach

Mumbai: Body of an unidentified woman, said to be in her early twenties, washed ashore at Juhu Beach on Wednesday evening. The police have registered a case of murder and are searching for any clues to find her identity and her killer/s.
According to police, a resident saw the body first and alerted them. The woman was wearing a nightgown and had injury marks to her face and body. The police have also found a tattoo, which looks like an angel, which they believe could help in identifying her. “We are checking the missing persons record which could have been registered by the kin of the victim,” said a Santacruz police officer.
