As per the application submitted by her at Shahibaugh police station, she had fallen off the stairs at her house on Friday. On Sunday, she had a severe stomach ache and visited the Civil Hospital, Asarwa with her three relatives around 9 am.
She was shocked to see that only junior doctors were present at the trauma ward. When she refused to get herself checked through them, the family and the junior doctors had an altercation over why no senior doctor was present at the spot.

Sources said when the woman apprised him of stomach ache, Kapadiya asked her to visit Dr Jigna Dave's cabin, located right in front of his. He even suggested that if she feels like, she can get a sonography done and admit herself at the hospital.
When contacted, Kapadiya said he came to know about the incident when he was just about to finish work and return home. He stated that a reporter called him up around 3 pm saying a molestation case has been registered against him at Shahibaugh police station.
He rushed to the police station and inquired about it from PI KK Desai who told him that they have received an application from the woman. She had stated that Kapadiya caught her by her hand and allegedly molested her. Desai told the CMO that they will lodge a complaint only after preliminary inquiry and studying CCTV footage.
When contacted, CMO Kapadiya said, "The allegations are false. When she arrived in my cabin, there were 20 people present at the spot including her family. I don't even know her name."
Will lodge plaint after probe: Cops
PI of Shahibaugh police station, KK Desai, said, “We asked the woman to submit an application as we were not convinced with her allegations. We are trying to recover the CCTV footage of the spot for clarity in the case. It would be clear in two days, what had actually happened.”
Allegations are false: CMO
When contacted, CMO Mahesh Kapadiya said, “The allegations are false. When she arrived in my cabin, there were 20 people present at the spot including her family. I don’t even know her name. It might be a result of internal politics at the hospital. The incident seems to have a mala fide intention. We had instead cooperated with the patient after she complained about the presence of only junior doctors.”
