Protesting residents demand Bisalpur water supply

Jaipur: Residents of Prithviraj Nagar area recited Sundar Kand on first day of their indefinite Dharna outside JDA office at Chitrakoot on Monday. These residents have been demanding supply of Bisalpur water along with development of other infrastructure for their colonies. Despite the protest, officials at the JDA did not respond to the demands.
"It has been due to the inconsiderate behaviour of JDA officials that nearly a lakh people residing in over 800 colonies in the Prithviraj Nagar are forced to live a miserable life and struggle for basic amenities. Their willful negligence continues despite our protest," said advocate Ghanshyam Singh, leader of the Prithviraj Nagar Jan Adhikar Sangharsh Samiti.
