Veteran Marathi actor and director Vinay Apte was rushed to Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital on Friday afternoon after he suffered an asthmatic attack while shooting for a television serial at Satara. His condition is stable, according to doctors.
During the shooting on Thursday, Apte complained of breathlessness and was immediately rushed to the Sanjeevan Multi-specialty Hospital at Satara, where he was kept for a day.
"On Friday he was referred to Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital.The actor is suffering from upper respiratory tract infection. He is under treatment and his condition is stable," said a doctor.
Apte's wife Vaijayanti is with him at the hospital. Apte, who started his career in 1980s, is not only known
