Want to bring the gangster to the level of a normal man who has to abide by the law

Jaipur: Anandpal Singh, the dreaded gangster who has been on the run for over a year now, is being cornered by the police however, the khakhi clad men have come up with a new approach at bringing Singh to justice. The state police are looking to de-mystify Anandpal Singh’s personality and bring him to the level of a normal man.
Highly placed sources in the state police department have revealed that a new strategy is being formed wherein emphasis is on breaking the personality.
“Most of crimes like land grabbing, extortion and several others were committed using his name. It has come to light that particularly for land grabbing, those connected with the gang would use his name into getting the opposition to surrender. Even Amandeep became influential in his area through this. This way his gang members made him famous,” sources said.
As his fame grew, even gangsters from nearby states started associating with him. “Once you gain popularity and establish yourself in any field, those wanting to start in the particular field or are already there would want to associate with you. Thus, small time criminals in Rajasthan and nearby states became associated with him. And he grew his gang quickly. Interestingly, it has also come to light that Anandpal did not use to share money with these men,” sources informed.
The police have learnt that using this terror thus created by his goons, Anandpal’s aides have raked in lot of money and influenced rivals into surrendering.
“For this, we have started attaching the properties belonging to Anandpal or the gang. We met officials of the Enforcement Directorate to help us in the matter. The efforts have been proving successful as those who had been troubled by Singh or the gang members are expected to open up to the police against them,” sources said.
They further added that this is the prime reason they need to de-mystify the personality that is Anandpal. At the end of the day he is just like any other person in the eyes of law.
Once this personality of the dreaded gangster is broken, the terror that he created would be removed from people’s mind which will eventually help the police in its work.
