Rajan Raje forms his own outfit to fight MNS

One of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena's (MNS) prominent members, Rajan Raje, has announced the formation of his own party, on Wednesday, owing to a dispute with MNS chief Raj Thackery.
Rajan Raje, who contested in the last assembly election and Lok Sabha election as a MNS candidate, has decided to contest against the MNS in the upcoming Thane Municipal Corporation's (TMC) election.
"MNS used me for elections, but my views were never accepted," Raje said, while making an announcement of his party 'Dharma Rajya Paksha.'
Rajan Raje, who is an advocate by profession, contested the last Lok Sabha election as a MNS candidate and got 1.35 lakh votes. In 2009, he was a MNS candidate for assembly polls and gave a tough fight to Shiv Sena candidate and former mayor Rajan Vichare.
Raje announced the formation of his party in presence of his supporters and former justice B G Kolse Patil in a ceremony at Gadkari Rangayatan in Thane. It could be a coincident or a political move as even Raj Thackeray started his party MNS from Thane.
