Gujarati play ‘Unbroken Wings’ is all set for a February 15th show to inspire the young guns on life & its challenges

Life gives you happiness at one instance and at the very next moment, it could drown you in a pool of sadness. So, was the case with Ananya who decides to fight-back her surroundings that pull her down to a sense of dependency and mourning over a fateful accident!
Who is ‘Ananya’? Well, she is the protagonist of the play ‘Unbroken Wings’ that will be staged on February 15 at Natarani amphitheatre, 8.30 pm onwards. Directed by Abhinay Banker, the play is an adaptation from a Marathi play by the name ‘Ananya’. It has been translated in Gujarati by Hemant Shivalkar and the title has been changed to ‘Unbroken…’
Elaborating on the play, Banker, without divulging more details says, “It is about a young girl ‘Ananya’ who has completed her graduation and has topped the university. She is very good in education and is the most loved in her family. The family has lot of hopes from her and her father is very proud of having a daughter like her. Her marriage is fixed too. However, things change, surroundings change and with that attitude of people around her change, when Ananya meets with a fateful accident. The play shows her fight against such attitude and environment.”
Banker claims that the play will surely inspire youngsters who might come across or have come across such situations but have no clue on how to go ahead. Entry for the show is on donor passes available at Rs150.
