Noted Gujarati poet and theatre personality, Chinu Modi’s collection of 16 plays, Natyavali and a collection of memories of as many years, Jalsa Avtaar,  hit local bookshelves on Saturday. The books are part of the poetcum- playwright’s 75th birthday  celebrations. Besides Trivedi, a name to reckon with in Gujarati folk Bhavai, the play lso included excerpts from Chinu Modi’s noteworthy theatricals like Ashwamegh, Navlasa Hirji and Hukum Malik, and Aurangzeb to name a few. “I am comple ely honoured. This is  like a panorama shot of series of sketches (plays) that I have done throughout my life” said an overwhelmed Modi. The event was also attended by IAS officer Bhagyesh V Jha andveteran Congressman, Shankarsinh Vaghela.
