The Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) and sports education firm TENVIC will conduct India’s first-ever ITTF-PTT Level 1 Certification Programme for table tennis coaches. The programme will be held in Ajmer, Indore and Bangalore and is a certified programme from the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). The concept has been developed by former India international and Arjuna awardee, Chetan Baboor and internationally renowned coach Massimo Constantini, who is the programme director. The programme will involve a combination of classroom lessons and practical training. Successful coaches will receive certification after completing a set of post-course requirements, which will be as per ITTF guidelines. The five-day programme will be restricted to 30 coaches at each venue.
Vasanth Bharadwaj, co-founder and COO of TENVIC said: “We are committed to transforming grassroots sport in India. This programme will ensure that.”
