NMMC's photo contest for Navi Mumbaikars

Belapur: Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) is organising a photography contest, Pratima Navi Mumbaichi, for professional and amateur photographers.
There is no entry fee or age limit to participate in this photography contest. However, the participant has to be a resident of Navi Mumbai and the photographs to be submitted for the contest should be from Digha to Belapur area.
The subject for this year's photography is best of Navi Mumbai and cultural events in Navi Mumbai. Photographers can submit photographs for either of this subject or for both the subjects.
Maximum three photographs for each subject will be accepted. Winners will be awarded a cash prize of Rs20,000 for professional category and Rs10,000 for amateur photographer category.
Forms for this contest are available with the public relations department in NMMC head office at Belapur ward offices and Vishnudas Bhave auditorium in Vashi. The forms can also be downloaded from
The forms along with coloured photographs of 8X12 size and one matte photo print should be submitted to NMMC head office in Belapur till November 30. The 12 best photographs will be used by the civic body on their calendar for the year 2014.
