Get your driving licence from Vidyadhar Ngr RTO

Are you one of the residents staying in Vaishali Nagar, Bani Park, Jhotwara or northern Jaipur who had to travel all the way till RTO Jagatpura for vehicle-related work? Now, you don’t need to.
Reason: There will be two RTOs in city with the growth in area and growing population. Transport department has decided to build another Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Jaipur. A temporary arrangement will start effectively but the new one will be fully operational by December.
There will be RTO (North) and RTO (South). This has been done to give reprieve to residents who had to travel several kilometres to get to the RTO Office. The new office will be in Vidyadhar Nagar and will cater to the colonies in northern part of the city including Jhotwara, Murlipura, Vishwakarma, Pragpura, Vaishali Nagar, Sindhi Camp, Karni Vihar and outskirts of the city like Kotputli, Shahpura and  Manoharpura.
Areas like Adarsh Nagar, Malviya Nagar, Sanganer, Shivdaspura, Mansarovar, Shyam Nagar and Sodala will be under RTO South.
Additional transport commissioner Pawan Arora said a makeshift arrangement is being planned and the new RTO will become  operational by December. “City has grown  in area and population. Therefore, it was decided to build another RTO, which was a budget decision. We had to implement it,” Arora said.
Currently, the office will be working from a rented location which is being searched and the staff has already been deputed. However, it will be able to operate fully only after it gets a proper building. Current RTO BL Jatawat will now be RTO (South) while Abha Jain is RTO (North).
