Kompanions, a Gurugram based Ed-Tech-Sci organisation, took around 600 students of St. Xavier's Jaipur on a solar journey through Virtual Reality (VR).
These students were between the age group of 6 and 14 years. This was the first of its kind event as it has never been attempted by anyone in India or around the world so far. There are VR theatres and arcades in Mumbai, Delhi.
However, no one has taken students on a VR experience to solar at such a large scale. Through KOMPANIONS' interactive Virtual Reality experience, these students boarded a space ship from the school premises and visited all the planets one by one followed by interesting facts and information.
According to the students, the amazing part was the detailed view of the planets which made them feel like an astronaut in the space. The students experienced the solar system in its most realistic format through the Virtual Reality kits designed by Kompanions.
They were also exposed to interesting facts about the Solar System and all the students were excited to experience this new learning experience.
The school authorities along with the students appreciated the efficacy of the learning environment created by this education training method. The officials shared that their core mission is to increase the learning levels by enhancing the learning experience of the students. They envision to do this through various state of the art.
