Hailing from a military background, Hiremath's early life in Pune fostered a robust educational pathway, leading to his PhD from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Prior to establishing his career abroad, he engaged with Pune's academic environment, especially during his tenure as a faculty and coordinator at the University of Pune in 2006. These roots continue to run deep with family ties still present in Hadapsar.
