Swine flu toll touches 400

Ahmedabad: Swine flu deaths touched 400 with two more patients succumbing to the H1N1 virus in the state on Monday.
With 400 deaths since January, Gujarat stands at in second position when it comes to deaths by the flu. Maharashtra has reported around 480 deaths. However, Gujarat has reported the highest number of swine flu cases — more than 6,500.
Banaskantha district collector Dilip Rana’s swine flu test came positive on Monday. The chief district health officer in Banaskantha confirmed this.Banaskantha district was badly hit by floods in the month of July.
