Zika 'free agents' snuff out govt claim

Jaipur: In a horrifying revelation, Zika virus infected subjects are reported to be roaming freely without supervision exposing others to the disease that has the state medical and health department in knots.
The zika virus outbreak was reported for the first time ever in Jaipur some 3 weeks back. A total of 29 people have been officially declared as laboratory-confirmed Zika infected during this short period.
The medical and health department officials claimed of systems and processes in place for containment and quarantining of the suspects and infected subjects in front of the visiting central team on Tuesday.
