BMC to revisit parents, schools sceptical about rubella vaccine

Within a week of the measles and rubella vaccination campaign, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has covered over three lakh children across the city. To ensure greater outreach, the public health department will revisit the schools and parents, who may still have some misconception about the vaccine.
In some community schools, there is fear among parents about the vaccine’s side effects. The civic body has said that they will create awareness and will revisit the children who have missed out.
