Kurla locals file complaint about rise in dengue cases

There has been an increase in the number of cases related to the mosquito-borne disease detected in BMC’s L ward near Kapadia Nagar area. According to the residents, they filed a written complaint to the ward office on Thursday regarding the health issues after which the ward officials carried out a health campiagn, and visited the site for inspection.
As per the BMC’s health department’s report released in July, 70 dengue cases and 752 malaria cases were reported across the city.
Baitullah Khan, a resident of Kapadia Nagar, said, “We had visited the ward office to file a complaint and let the BMC know about the health issues in the area. The BMC officials visited the site on Friday morning to check the breeding spots,
