Until Friday evening, 2,95,124 students registered themselves for various undergraduate courses under the University of Mumbai, which was the deadline to submit applications. The total number of applications received by the university was 8,95,796.
Commerce emerged as the top most choice for students with a total of 2,71,196 registrations for BCom. Specialised BCom courses like BCom in Accounts and Finance, Banking and insurance and Finance Management also saw a large number of takers.
