PM to visit city for induction of INS Kalvari into Indian Navy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive on December 14 in the city for the induction of the much-awaited Kalavri class submarine into the Indian Navy.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the PM will arrive in the city in the morning for the induction, which will also see Union Minister for Defence Nirmala Seetaraman in attendance, at the Mumbai Naval dockyard. The diesel-electric attack submarine will be the first in 17 years to be inducted into the Indian Navy after the induction of INS Sindhurashtra in 2000.
