yummy! Bangalore is first test marketing destination for an increasing number of international food brands

 Bangalore is fast outpacing the likes of Mumbai and New Delhi to be the foremost destination for international food brands debuting in India.
After doughnut chain Krispy Kreme in January, American ice-cream brand Mini Melts has marked its India entry by registering presence in Bangalore first. The city was also the first to witness the India entry of KFC and Taco Bell in the mid-1990s and 2010 respectively.
Shoeab Salim, managing director of Honeybee Amusements, the holding company for Mini Melts, says they will invest $3 million to set up an ice-cream manufacturing plant in Hegde Nagar.
