Aiming to have direct connectivity between Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) and Wadala, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) plans to extend the under construction BKC-Chunabhatti elevated road till Wadala further from where it starts on the Eastern Express Highway (EEH).
The decision has been taken keeping in mind the fact that the development authority is setting up a commercial hub in Wadala, and also along with it from Wadala motorists travelling to south Mumbai and further Navi Mumbai can travel seamlessly via Eastern Freeway.
