Sadhu community seeks 15 BJP tickets, warns against denial

Gujarat's Sadhu community has thrown its hat into the circle of politics and demanded 15 tickets from the BJP for the Assembly polls.
A secret meeting of Sadhus from Gujarat was held with BJP president Amit Shah and CM Vijay Rupani in Gandhinagar on Tuesday. The community not only demanded tickets but also put forward other demands before BJP stalwarts over elections.
A sadhu from a well-known akhada and a politically active leader said on condition of anonymity, "Sadhu community met the BJP leaders and demanded tickets for them or the names suggested by them. They warned the party that they would go against it if their demands are not met. They have demanded 15 tickets from the BJP."
