Chandigarh: Nestled among the green mustard fields in Namol village in Sangrur district of Punjab, Satguru Singh’s house exudes an uneasy calm. Singh is a farmer who lives with his wife, Shinder Kaur. His son, Amrik, 28, died due to the alleged use of chitta, a synthetic drug, 10 months ago, leaving behind his widow, Binder Kaur, 28, and son Sahibjit Singh, 4.
