'Give account of water used from Narmada dam'

Just a day after Gujarat government announced that farmers should not go for summer crops as the water in Sardar Sarovar Dam is not adequate, Khedut Samaj – Gujarat (KSG), a farmers' body, on Saturday, asked the government to give an account of the inflow of water in the dam during monsoon and how much water has been used for agriculture, industries, household consumption and other activities.
Talking to media persons in the city on Saturday, Sagar Rabari, general secretary of KSG said that under the Narmada Tribunal Award, Gujarat is entitled to nine million acre feet of water, of which 7.74 lakh million acre feet is for agriculture, 1.06 million acre feet for household consumption and 0.2 million acre feet for industri
