Inorbit Mall's Pink Power campaign to empower budding women entrepreneurs wins the gold award at DMA Asia Awards 2016

Earlier this year, dna Westcoast Stories, in its May 27 edition, had featured the Pink Power campaign in the story 'Give them wings, and they'll fly!' The campaign was an initiative by Inorbit Mall to empower women entrepreneurs on the occasion of Women's Day. Even today, the campaign continues to garner appreciation—the latest feather in the cap being winning an award at the DMA Asia Awards 2016 in the Gold category.
A huge recognition
The DMA Asia Awards, a widely recognised symbol of achievement, honours innovative campaigns that have raised the bar of originality and has created marketing impact. This is the fourth recognition received by the Pink Power campaign. The other awards received by the campaign include Effie, Abby and the finalist title at the Asia Pacific Shopping Centre Awards.
Pink Power was an initiative that gave an opportunity to budding women entrepreneurs to upscale their businesses. Inorbit supported the most innovative ideas by offering a kiosk space for a period of 6–9 months at the mall, absolutely free of cost.
Scaling it up
Speaking on the occasion, Puneet Varma, Associate Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Inorbit Malls (India) Pvt. Ltd., said, "The entire team of Inorbit is thrilled with the recognition that the Pink Power campaign has received. This is the fourth award won by the campaign. We are happy to put smiles on the faces of women who have sacrificed their dreams. Inorbit hopes to continue the trend and take Pink Power to another level." Today, the campaign has become one of most popular amongst women entrepreneurs.
